Enter the thrilling world of Market Clash! A fast paced game where 3-6 players become rival merchants fighting for control of the 12 raising markets. Can you take control and reap the gold or fall victim to not having enough money for anything. Make your plans in secret then reveal simultaneously to see how it plays out, will your plans prevail or will you cause a Market Clash!
Market Clash is going to be a more quick party game with 3-6 players. You have double the number of markets as you have people.
All markets start at level 1 and cost equal to its level, each time a market is purchased it goes up 1 level
Each turn the markets give the owner 1 gold
All players start with 5 gold and cards numbered 1-the number of markets out
Each turn every player will place a card face down with the same market symbol that you want to purchase
You must have enough gold to purchase the market to place the card down
Once all cards are placed then all players flip their cards at the same time
All markets with only 1 buyer gets resolved first
If two or more players play the same symbol then they cause a “Market Clash!”
All players that caused the Market Clash! places any amount of gold and keep it hidden from all other players
When all players have a selected amount, they reveal and whomever has the highest wins (it still only goes up 1 level)
You do this for each auction round separate from market to market
If you do not have enough gold to purchase any of the markets you are out of the game
Last one standing wins
Additional rules if wanted:
If two or more players try to buy the same market, it goes back to level 1 and becomes unowned (This will make the game last longer)
